# AIR raises $50M across two seed rounds for AI agent security

> AIR, a startup founded by veterans of Israel's Unit 8200 intelligence corps, has raised $50 million across two quick seed rounds, a $10 million first round followed by a $40 million second, to secure the fast-growing world of AI agents. Yair Saban serves as chief executive and Niv Hoffman as chief technology officer. The company's pitch addresses a problem enterprises are only starting to grapple with: agents quietly proliferating inside a business and pulling in third-party skills and tools that no one has vetted. AIR discovers those agents, inspects the add-ons they rely on, and blocks interactions it deems dangerous. It says it already flags about 27% of the skills and add-ons it finds online as unsafe. With 40 employees and more than 20 customers, a quarter of them large enterprises in regulated industries, AIR is riding the same wave as a cluster of new agent-security firms. The funding is a bet that as agents gain autonomy, controlling what they are allowed to touch becomes its own security discipline.
