# AIR raises $50M to secure AI agent skills and add-ons

> AIR has raised 50 million dollars to help companies figure out which skills and add-ons their AI agents are actually using, and to block the ones they should not. The money came in two rounds, a 10 million dollar first round led by Sequoia Capital and a 40 million dollar second round led by Greenoaks Capital, and the company was founded by Yair Saban and Niv Hoffman. The problem it targets is real and growing. As agents pull in third-party tools and extensions to get work done, each addition is a potential security and compliance hole, and most organizations have no visibility into what their agents are plugging into. AIR says it already filters out about 27 percent of the add-ons and skills it finds online as not safe to use. With more than 20 customers, a quarter of them large enterprises, and 40 employees, AIR is riding the same wave that has Gartner warning about ungoverned agent deployments. The bet is that as agents proliferate inside companies, someone has to vet what they are allowed to touch, and that oversight becomes its own market.
