# Atira raises $17.5M to automate industrial sales engineering with AI agents

> Atira, a Munich-based startup, has closed a $17.5 million seed round, with $15 million of it led by Accel, to attack a slow and unglamorous corner of heavy industry: the paperwork behind industrial dealmaking. Its AI agents read a customer's technical requirements and then generate the specifications, documentation, and pricing proposals that sales engineers would normally assemble by hand. The agents plug into the systems companies already run, including CRM, ERP, and configure-price-quote software, so they can flag requirements a product cannot meet and draft compliant proposals automatically. Since launching in November 2025, Atira says it has 15 customers in full production, five of which have more than 100 users each.
