# Brainμ: unified neuroscience foundation model decodes EEG, calcium imaging, neural probes

> Chinese research institute BAAI has released Brainmu 1.0, which it describes as the first foundation model to unify very different kinds of brain signals, EEG readings, calcium imaging and direct neural-probe recordings, inside a single encoding framework.
