# China Enacts World's First AI Agent Regulation Framework

> China has become the first country to write dedicated rules for autonomous AI agents. Effective July 15, the Implementation Opinions on Intelligent Agents, issued jointly by the CAC, NDRC and MIIT, create a three-tier decision authorization framework and require mandatory filings for agents deployed in healthcare, transportation, media and public safety.
