# Naïve Raises $28.5M Series A to Automate Business Operations for AI Agents

> Naive has raised a 28.5 million dollar Series A led by Nexus Venture Partners, bringing its total to around 32 million. The backer list leans operator-heavy, including Y Combinator, Zetta, Liquid 2 and angels like the co-founder of Apollo.io and the COO of HubSpot. The product tackles an unglamorous problem: all the plumbing it takes to actually run a company. Naive bundles payments, email, phone, incorporation, storage and databases behind a single API, so an autonomous agent can spin up and operate the back office of a business without a human wiring together a dozen services. Its early customers are telling. They are automating AI agencies, content channels and rental services, the kind of small, largely software-run operations that agent tooling makes newly viable. The bet is that a wave of tiny, semi-autonomous companies is coming, and that they will need one integrated substrate rather than a drawer full of SaaS logins. This round is a wager on that future arriving soon.
